We have received notification from NFWI that the Annual Meeting at the Royal Albert Hall in London on 4 June has been cancelled.
We are pleased to be able to inform all those who were attending from our Federation that a full refund will be given for the deposit or final balance or ticket that has been paid.
NFWI make this decision with great sadness and we know many members will be very disappointed, as we are, but prioritising the health and wellbeing of our members above anything else.
In order for refunds to be processed swiftly without the need for you to go out and pay a cheque into the bank, our Federation Financial Secretary will refund by BACS bank transfer.
Are you thinking of joining the WI? If so please come along to the interest meeting which will be held on Tuesday 5 May 2020 at 6 pm in The Hill Top Centre, New Edlington, Doncaster DN12 1PL.
I hope you are well. As WI's meetings have temporarily suspended and newsletters cannot be circulated in the normal way, we are giving members the opportunity to view/print off a copy for yourself from our Website. Just go to the 'Downloads' tab and look for 'April newsletter'. WI Secretaries have also been emailed a copy to circulate to their members if possible. Going forward we would like to continue with the circulation of the newsletter as it is a great way to keep members connected at a time when we could all do with some light relief. Therefore, we would like to ask you to send by email, any funny stories/articles, poems, photographs, problem solving puzzles or anything you think other members would be interested in. We hope that this will keep members in touch with each other and the WI world! We can't wait to see what you send.

Full refunds will be issued to WIs who have purchased tickets for Visitors and Delegates' lunch. To enable refunds to be given swiftly and to prevent Treasurers having to visit their banks, refunds will be issued by BACS transfer. Please email Lesley Philipson, Federation Financial Secretary with your WI's bank details as soon as possible.
